Account Manager - Special Projects

  1. Mission

    FraudBuster is expanding globally and diversifying its products and services at a fast pace: as such, we must often lead projects with specific technical aspects or unusual regulatory constraints. Those “Special Projects”, that diverge from our standard procedures, are strategic for FraudBuster and require specific follow-up.

    Working under the supervision of FraudBuster’s COO, you will be the main point of contact of FraudBuster’s customers to manage the Special Projects. As such, your duties include:

    • Managing the relationship with customers, helping them understand and make the best use of FraudBuster’s services;
    • Coordinating the actions of the Fraud Analysts, who unveil and fight fraud using in-house tools, and our Technical Teams who create and maintain those tools;
    • Contributing to the quality of service and to the evolution of FraudBuster’s solution by sharing your feedback and the expectations of the customers to the Development Team.

    The Operational Account Manager represents FraudBuster towards the Customers and guarantees their expectations are met by:

    • Building and presenting regular updates on fraud analysis and project progress;
    • Presenting and valorizing the results of FraudBuster’s antifraud actions, in particular during frequent conference calls with the customers.

    Based in Velizy-Villacoublay. Worldwide travels.

  2. Profile
    • At least 4th year university level, or with a successful experience in the field of antifraud, you are interested by technology and capable of understanding elaborate technical concepts.
    • Fluent in English, ideally in an additional language (Russian, Spanish or Arabic). Fluent in MS Office, particularly Excel.
    • Must have excellent communication and pedagogy skills, both written and orally: clear, synthetic and rigorous. You have good social skills and can address all levels of interlocutors.
    • You are methodical, keen on details with an analytical mind to make sure you provide accurate data and exact information to your Customers.
    • You are curious, reactive, and know how to adapt to a complex activity and frequently evolving markets.

Fraud Analyst

  1. Mission

    Working under the supervision of FraudBuster’s COO, you will be part of the Fraud Analysts team, which is responsible for tracking down and fighting fraud using FraudBuster’s in-house solutions.

    The Analysts team is based in France, but some projects, due to technical or regulatory constraints, require the service to be provided locally, within the customer’s country of operations. This is where the International Fraud Analyst would thus have to fulfill their mission on the spot, for a few weeks or a few months, embedded in the customer’s operations.

    The responsibilities of the Fraud Analysts include:

    • Creating and adapting detection rules to identify the suspicious behavior of a few SIM cards among millions of genuine profiles.
    • Sharing the results with Customers and reporting on progress made;
    • Reducing and keeping fraudulent traffic low while maintaining a good quality of detections;
    • Contributing to the evolution of FraudBuster’s tools by providing feedback based on your experience to the development team;

    Fraud Analysts play a key role to FraudBusters’s Customers satisfaction as their action is critical to reducing fraudulent traffic on their network and regaining profitability.

    You will be trained to FraudBuster’s tools and methods, and also benefit from a tailored coaching program to help you succeed in this unique job!

  2. Profile
    • At least 2nd year university level, or with a successful experience in the field of antifraud.
    • Fluent in English, ideally in an additional language (Russian, Spanish or Arabic)
    • Must love traveling, with a strong capacity to adapt to new cultures and environments
    • Detective/Investigator skills required: curious, precise, with an excellent logic and analytical mindset
    • Must love sharing with your colleagues and customers the results of your investigations and findings

System Administrator

  1. Mission

    Among the growing System Team, your  tasks and responsibilities include :

    • Administration of the server park, supervising servers and services
    • Developing and launching new system services (mail, monitoring, central authentication)
    • Automating deployments and administration with open-source tools (saltstack, graphite, Nagios, …)
    • Investigating technical issues, troubleshooting and deploying fixes
    • Network and server security
    • Participating in R&D on NoSQL DB, system multithreading and data crunching

    Your technical knowledge will put you in the position to suggest new functionalities and solutions along the way.

    Based in Marseille.

  2. Profile
    • You know everything can be automated and all manual work can be simplified and streamlined. You have an extensive knowledge of IT and technology in general.
    • Must be pragmatic. You are willing to embrace change in a fast-growing company.
    • IT engineering degree, DUT or BTS; alternatively, you have hands-on experience and proven skills
    • Must have experience in Debian linux and standard services (DNS, email, web hosting, ssh, cryptography, security)

    Technical environment: Debian, Perl, Python, Redis, MySQL, mongodb, nagios, icinga, nginx, IPSec, SaltStack, iptables, git & gitolite, openswan, and other fun and modern OSS

 

Developper

  1. Mission

    You will join FraudBuster’s Development Team, where your responsibilities include:

    • Developing new features to existing applications that include Big Data, real time processing and fraud detection algorithms
    • Full development of new applications, based on clear and open specifications
    • Contributing to writing functional and technical specifications
    • Participating in R&D on NoSQL DB, system multithreading and data crunching

    Your technical knowledge will put you in the position to suggest new functionalities and solutions along the way. Developments are done following the Agile methodology.

    Based in Marseille.

  2. Profile
    • IT engineering degree, DUT or BTS; alternatively, you have hands-on experience and proven skills, at least 2 years experience in development.
    • You master Perl 5, C or Python, and ideally other interpreted languages. Must be familiar with Debian linux and Git. Experience on SQL and NoSQL DB is required.
    • You can write proper documentation in French, and have a working level of technical English (written and oral).
    • Knowledge in fixed and GSM/3G mobile telecom  networks is a must. You have good reflexes in system administration and networks.
    • You know that cranking out code is counter-productive, developing without proper specifications is a waste of time. Joel On Software is your guru.
    • You have an extensive knowledge of IT and technology in general. Must be aware of pros and cons of most used programming languages. Must be open-minded to systems, capable of chosing the best technical option to solve a functional issue.

    Environment: jenkins, perl, C, gitolite, redis, mysql, linux Debian, saltstack, python, asterisk, and many other fun and modern tools

Marketing & Communication Manager

  1. Mission

    Reporting directly to the General Manager of FraudBuster, you are responsible for improving the visibility and building the brand image of FraudBuster on the market, with the objective of retaining existing customers and conquering new market shares.

    In relationship with the Sales and Operations teams, you are at the heart of the development strategy of the Company.

    Your duties include:

    • Sales promotion and retention of the customer portfolio
    • Measuring and analyzing customer satisfaction
    • Creating sales support tools:
      • Organizing emailing campaigns
      • Communication support (brochures, leaflets, etc.)
      • Creating product sheets
    • Managing the online communication channels (website, LinkedIn, etc.)
    • Managing the participation to industry conferences and workgroups (sponsoring, preparation campaigns, etc.)

    Based in Vélizy-Villacoublay, possible travels worldwide.

  2. Profile
    • At least 4th or 5th year degree in sales/marketing, with a minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar position, you are interested in technology and capable of understanding elaborate technical concepts
    • Must be fluent in French and English ++
    • Strong redactional skills
    • Abilities in creating promotional material and a good creative sense will be welcome (brochures, printed docs, Adobe Illustrator, etc.)
    • Great communication and interpersonal skills, team spirit required
    • Should be methodical, keen on details with an analytical mindset
    • Must be curious, proactive and able to work autonomously
